The girls at Elite Stampers are working on a very special project and I've just finished my part in it yesterday, so I thought I'd share some pics with you. I was really pleased with how they turned out.

As many of you know, the Australian General Manager, Dave Abbott, recently passed away from a rare blood disease, at the age of 41, leaving behind his wife and 3 young children. ...Okay, I know, it seems I have failed at my daily update challenge. Life has got so crazy here for us! It feels like everything is happening at once! I have been crafting (HAVE to, to get things done to sell at the fete), but I just haven't had a chance to post to the blog each day. So, I was reading my girl, SJ's blog today and she has this great thing going on. It's like an RAK, but if you go in for it, you have to agree to pass it on! Head on over there and check it out. This one is actually an original by me! I was please with how it turned out. There aren't a whole lot of originals by me out there just yet, but I am slowly but surely changing that. What do you think? (Be nice!) This one was a sketch challenge over at Elite Challenges. So, I guess you could call it a semi-original of mine! I picked the colours and papers and what-not... does that count???

Okay, okay, I know. I'm slack and more than a little bit behind on my "one card per day" challenge, but it's been a crazy week for me. I've had one of Sam's songs in my head ALL day today. He loves a show called "Jack's big music show" -it was on Foxtel up until a few weeks ago. So, this afternoon Sam walked across the room, on his own, with no encourage from us. DH and I were sitting on the lounge, watching a movie and Sam was playing quietly on the floor in front of us.
